Stop motion McCoy’s crisps ad
This is a commissioned stop motion animation that I created for McCoy’s crisps. The video was made as a thank you to the 100,000 subscribers on their Facebook page as well as a general advert.
In late 2014 I graduated an intensive 3 month Stop Motion/Character Animation course taught at the Aardman studio in Bristol, UK and run by the prestigious National Film And Television School.
This showreel shows some of my favourite stop motion pieces from the past few years. Some fairly old, but also some very new. It’s quite a fun little compilation and it conveys my style quite successfully with the quirky soundtrack accompanying the clips. Music – Funny Old Man -by- The Daniel Pemberton TV Orchestra.
Life is short, not quite as short as this animation, but short, so get animating! I might end up using this (or an edited down version) as a Claynation.co.uk ident to go before or after my films from now on.
